KAREN GIBSON HOLISTIC HEALING JOURNEY TO OK WORKSHOPS
This workshop series is for those who are ready to start a self-care plan for common body aches and pains. If you are frustrated with continually being troubled with soreness then please message me. I will look at you holistically and help find the cause of your aches, as well as give you homecare energy skill exercises to do. If you don’t know your YMCA then you are missing out – ask most of my clients. Some of you will need massage to help tight sore muscles and I will guide you when is the best time to do this. If only we all arrived into this world with a manual of how our body works, and how to navigate around our body systems! Our body is made up of many different systems & the human body consists of layers of energy. The energy body is a template for the physical body and understanding these different layers of energy allows you to balance, harmonise and strengthen the energetic flow in the body. This energy/chi/Qi is the power, the life force within. It carries the origin of the information of your life. When you activate this energy inside you, this energy has the intelligence to help fix any damaged tissues and cells. It has that power. This is how your body heals and supports you. When a problem in the body arises practising Energy Skills daily will help the body to restore to its original information of life.
So this is my life’s work mission to you, Learning simple and very basic tools to help support our body and mind in our daily life is the key to a happier life. Working as a holistic therapist for 30 years, I will combine my experience in using different techniques (Advanced massage, Aromatherapy, Acupressure points, Mindfulness, Chi Gung and Emotional Freedom Technique etc) to help ease your body’s muscular aches and pains and help your mind relax and recharge. I will target classes and workshops to help you with everyday problems of modern life from headaches, neck and shoulder tension, back concerns, stress, anxiety, hormonal imbalances & arthritis etc. Individual and small-group lessons are available at my private clinic.
Sometimes with stress, you don’t even know who you are anymore or even where to start healing yourself, and this is where I will take care of you in help you start some self-care safely and enjoyably. I don’t claim to know everything but simply taking one class, workshop or whatever you can, will change how you deal with yourself. Self-care begins with you and only you and you need to heal yourself first before you can help others around you. I look forward to meeting as many of you as I can and my classes can be practised by anybody regardless of age or level of fitness, even if you are elderly. No special clothes or mats etc are required for classes and wear something you can move freely in, also bring some water to drink. Your regular exercise class has a purpose and my classes are not the same, they are for your general mind & body concerns from modern life. I guarantee you will leave with less tension in the body and know how to start working on this at home.
