Positive Mindful Change Workshop – Anxiety

How to actively deal with anxiety and rewire your brain to help set you FREE from constant anxiety loops causing your burnout.

You must start with restoring peace to your body if you suffer from anxiety and burnout. Before your appointment I will send you a Wellness Evaluation Consultation form and information to ensure I have you booked in for the best therapy for you to begin with. You cannot address burnout and long-term stress with one appointment therapy as it takes a lifestyle change with you in the driving seat to address this. You need to actively start working on a daily basis with tools and support to rewire and override your faulty wrong brain mode (when in fight or flight). Our human design works best when we are in the correct brain function mode and this is where true change for less stress begins and you feel at home in your body. Let’s get you and your life back!

Using a different layout style for this workshop helps the concepts covered sink in when your brain feels fried from anxiety. You will learn to understand your brain and why your anxiety loop is hard to shift, so it’s not your fault. Tools and techniques will give you a daily plan for your day so that you can successfully shift your perspective to clear any negative thinking. Mindfulness techniques to handle your emotions and practices to help you move out of your anxiety mode will be completed at this workshop to help you gain a full understanding of what to do at home.

Any questions please just ask me directly.

Please seek medical advice if you are suffering from debilitating anxiety as this workshop is not a substitute for medical attention. If you are on medication for anxiety please check with your healthcare provider to see if you are suitable for this workshop before attending.

PLEASE NOTE THIS WORKSHOP IS BEING UPGRADED AND WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL LATER THIS YEAR.

Anxiety, Overwhelm & Burnout

So it’s that time! You realise that your mind is acting like a tyrant and is really not your friend. The mental noise is soul crushing and you don’t even recognise your life anymore. Where am I? Well you don’t need to fix yourself as you are already whole and amazing just as you are. With long-term stress what you are going through is your bodies way of just trying to protect you. So if you feel exhausted all the time, feel disconnected from life and just feel miserable and that nothing you try is working to improve how you feel then you are probably suffering from burnout.

Understanding why this has happened to you will be your profound break through to get you back home to your thriving self. Now my approach to my therapies is all about the science and scientifically proven techniques, and once you grasp the concept of being a pre-programmed human machine you will get it about your long-term stress. We have lots of systems in the body pre-programmed for us to be amazing living machines. Information overload is not what you need so I will get straight to the main fault in your body right now.

Years of stress, anxiety, or trauma can trap your body in a constant state of survival mode. Your nervous system is supposed to help you when you are in danger, kicking in fight or flight mode but sometimes it gets stuck there. Please note that when you are working in this mode your limbic brain is working you and this put very basically is your wrong brain function mode. If it’s stuck there you are not going to thrive, and when you get stuck in this stress mode it doesn’t matter how much sleep you get or how healthy you eat, your body can’t relax. your body is always on high alert, using up all your energy just to get through the day. We all only have soo much energy available to us in the day and once it’s used up that’s it. So I know what you are going through and it is not just in your head. Your body is not broken it is just trying to protect you but got stuck in this mode. It doesn’t know how to stop at the moment and it needs your help. Your nervous system needs calmed and teach your body how to come out of survival mode.

Burnout can occur when you have repeated and prolonged demands that exceed resources. Our bodies are designed for resilience and wired for healing but can’t help you when you are constantly in the flight and fight mode. Your brain needs help to rewire from this deregulated state of your nervous system. Firstly you need to switch of your fight or flight gears in your body which are instructing your brain to work for a different purpose, and neutralise any damaging effects before switching on the correct brain to repair and heal your body. This is where you feel back home in your body ready to embrace all the things you enjoy in your life. This healing process takes time to reduce the impact of your anxiety or burnout on all areas of your life sapping your energy and motivation.

Burnout is a gradual process over time and the symptoms can be recognised physically, emotionally and behaviourally. Most people will experience a combination of the symptoms below that includes severe exhaustion, feeling cut off from others, and feeling they have no hope, energy or reason to change.

Physical symptoms include: Feeling tired or exhausted most of the time. Reoccurring insomnia and sleep. Frequent headaches. Muscle or joint pain. Gastrointestinal problems, such as feeling sick or loss of appetite. frequent illness due to lowered immunity. High Blood Pressure. Issues breathing.

Emotional Symptoms include: Feeling helpless, trapped, and/or defeated. Self-doubt, feeling a failure or worthless. Feeling detached and alone in the world. Feeling overwhelmed. Feeling demotivated, having a cynical/negative outlook. Lacking a sense of satisfaction and achievement. Loss of interest and enjoyment. Persistent feelings of dread, worry and anxiety.

Behavioural Symptoms include: Procrastinating and taking longer to complete things. Difficulty concentrating. Decreased output and productivity. Becoming isolated and withdrawing from people, responsibilities etc. Reliant on food, drugs or alcohol to cope. irritable and short-tempered, likely to have outbursts and take frustrations out on others. Increased tardiness, being late for work and/or higher absenteeism.

Burnout isn’t something which goes away on it’s own. If ignored or left untreated it could worsen and lead to chronic physical and mental health conditions such as heart disease or depression. Depending on the factors causing a person to become burnt out, the solutions and treatments will differ. I have designed a couple of options to help you with anxiety and burnout with my own holistic therapy style. These treatments are not a substitute for medication and contact your GP if you feel that your anxiety is chronic or are feeling suicidal.
