This section will be updated periodically with your feedback reviews to help those of you needing a little extra encouragement to allow yourself self care. These feedback reviews have been sent into me with specific questions answered so you get the information that you want to know, and I get to improve my services where required.

REVIEW FOR MY BODY HEALTH COACHING LESSON

Reason for seeking my help: Miserable with constant soreness that medical route couldn’t answer.

Issue: back, hips, hands, knee & not sleeping.

How long had you been troubled for: For a few years now.

Had you had any medical help from a DR: I have been checked out by my G.P. but this route didn’t help me with the discomfort. I have had all the medical tests I can have and they didn’t come up with a medical answer. Massage is recommended and it does help me.

Did you find my Body Health Lesson easy: I found it very easy to follow and understand about my body systems so that I can help myself more.

How soon did you see results from starting to ease your issue: I couldn’t believe the difference in the improvement of the movement with my back and shoulder within a few days and I slept all night for the first time in months. My pain didn’t wake me. My mobility is better and I can look after my daughter much easier now. I have been going to Karen for massage for a number of years now and because I felt better after massage she recommended me to take this workshop. I feel like a different person now. I am always working with my moves and don’t have to change my daily routine to fit them in. Being able to fit them in whilst in bed is brilliant.

Do you still use all the information from your lesson to help your muscular help today. Yes when required.

Any other information you would like to add: I can actually enjoy my life now.

REVIEW FOR MY BODY HEALTH COACHING LESSON

Reason for seeking my help: Troubled with recent body aches.

Issue: Sore right shoulder, neck and sore right knee.

How long had you been troubled for: A couple of months with a niggly achy knee and restriction of movement in my shoulder with sore neck.

Had you had any medical help from a DR: I did get it checked and there is nothing causing concern and its coming from a busy period of work.

Did you find my Body Health Lesson easy: Very easy to follow.

How soon did you see results from starting to ease your issue: Saw improvement results within a week for both areas, and my knee felt better very quickly. Knowing how to move to help my knee and lymph massage techniques really helped and I have no issues now.

Do you still use all the information from your lesson to help your muscular help today? I still use the lesson information today and I have had no further issues with my shoulder and knee. I perform my YMCA & moves regularly and know what to do when an issue arises, and the tools taught help me when I work at the computer lots or feel tension build up.

Any other information you would like to add: This lesson is very helpful and easy to do and I recommend everyone to take this workshop.

REVIEW FOR MY BODY HEALTH COACHING LESSON

Reason for seeking my help: Couldn’t sleep or exercise fully with back aches.

Issue: Lower back stiffness and upper back tension.

How long had you been troubled for: A couple of months with achy lower back and restriction of movement also in upper back.

Had you had any medical help from a DR: I did get it checked and there is nothing causing concern and its coming from bad posture and not taking care of what I am doing at the gym and home.

Did you find my Body Health Lesson easy: Simple to understand.

How soon did you see results from starting to ease your issue: Saw improvement results before I left the appointment and my lower back is feeling much happier now. My upper back was looser after the appointment too, but I needed to keep working on this area for a week and a month later I had no issue. Being mindful of what and how I go about my day really helped and I take more care of myself now with what I am doing.

Do you still use all the information from your lesson to help your muscular help today? I still use the lesson information today and I fit my posture moves regularly into my day and know what to do when an issue arises.

Any other information you would like to add: You need to know this information if you are constantly troubled especially if you always put your own needs last.

REVIEW FOR MY BODY HEALTH COACHING LESSON

Reason for seeking my help: Miserable with constant soreness.

Issue: Continual tight scalp causing headaches, sore neck, upper body issues, sore arms.

How long had you been troubled for: For years now especially with busy periods of work.

Had you had any medical help from a DR: I have been checked out by my G.P. but this route didn’t help me with the discomfort. I did have a fall and slightly damage my joint about 10 yrs ago and they told me I may get arthritis here as I age. Permission from Dr to exercise and swim and have massage etc.

Did you find my Body Health Lesson easy: I found it very easy to follow and give me the confidence to know how to help my muscular health throughout the day especially with my work.

How soon did you see results from starting to ease your issue: I couldn’t believe the difference in the improvement of the movement with my back and shoulder within one week. Everyone in my house was fed up with me complaining about my back. I haven’t had a headache in a couple of months now.

Do you still use all the information from your lesson to help your muscular help today. Yes I did get offered treatment from the pain clinic but it didn’t help me last year. Your body health lesson did so I would definitely being using the techniques regularly.

Any other information you would like to add: So worth it to help ease discomfort.

Reason for seeking my help: Ongoing muscle stiffness and soreness.

Issue: Lower & middle back aches and stiffness, Tension right side into neck.

How long had you been troubled for: For six months now.

Had you had any medical help from a DR: I have been checked out by my G.P. but this route didn’t help me with the discomfort. No medical issues needing investigation recommended. Recommended massage and Yoga type exercising.

Did you find my Body Health Lesson easy: Found it really easy to follow.

How soon did you see results from starting to ease your issue: My back felt looser upon leaving the appointment and I was able to sleep well that night. I continued on developing my own self care routine and I felt great improvements within a couple of weeks. I feel motivated to help myself a bit more with better posture to.

Do you still use all the information from your lesson to help your muscular help today. Yes still working with the moves & other tools when needed but don’t have to use them very much now.

Any other information you would like to add: This workshop helped me start to deal with the reasons for my issues and work on my stress.

REVIEW FOR MY BODY HEALTH COACHING LESSON

Reason for seeking my help: Miserable with constant headaches, jaw & neck soreness.

Issue: Reoccurring tight upper body & scalp causing headaches, sore neck, upper body issues.

How long had you been troubled for: For a few years now and my headaches are more frequent now I am in senior school.

Had you had any medical help from a DR: I have had blood tests and checks from the DR but this didn’t help me with my headaches. Pain meds is what was recommended for short term use. I am able to continue with my dancing and normal activites.

Did you find my Body Health Lesson easy: I found it very informative and easy to understand what was happening in my body and know how yo help release the tightness, and then work on what was causing my headaches. Coming back for the follow up workshop to show me how to use acupressure, massage and more movements for when a migraine comes on was most useful and to further release my issue greatly helped especially when I have to study soo much.

How soon did you see results from starting to ease your issue: I felt relief straight away. I am in the middle of exams and this has kept my headaches at bay.

Do you still use all the information from your lesson to help your muscular help today. Yes I work with the postures on a regular basis and when I forget to do them I notice the old tightness come back quickly.

Any other information you would like to add: This also helped me not be soo miserable.

REVIEW FOR MY BODY HEALTH COACHING LESSON

Reason for seeking my help: Aches and pains with my job.

Issue: Back, neck, knees & calves achy all the time.

How long had you been troubled for: A few years now but recently my shoulder into my neck is causing me real discomfort.

Had you had any medical help from a DR: I have been checked over the years but its just wear and tear from my plumbing job.

Did you find my Body Health Lesson easy: Simple and easy to follow and easy to fit in with my day.

How soon did you see results from starting to ease your issue: Saw improvement results straight away and with continually working with what my body needs each day has resolved most issues. Making the necessary changes in my working hours will help me get more improvement. I also booked another workshop to help me learn more tools as this was a game changer for me.

Do you still use all the information from your lesson to help your muscular help today? I still use the information today and I couldn’t be pain free without it. I combine it with my day and continue with my gym and walking.

Any other information you would like to add: Feeling comfortable to open up about any issues that I am working on has helped me tremendously. I still come regularly for body maintenance treatments and Karen helps me each time with whatever issue is pressing. Prioritizing self care in a relaxed way has worked for me.

Reason for seeking my help: Miserable with constant lower back soreness & tension knots.

Issue: Not sleeping with lower back issue and tight upper body with occasional headaches.

How long had you been troubled for: Lower back for around 5yrs now and upper body since I started my computer based job 20 years ago.

Had you had any medical help from a DR: I have been well checked out by my G.P. but this route didn’t help me with the discomfort. I had investigation scans 5yrs ago and had some physio appointments also then. I recently went again to the DR. and was recommended to join the gym or other suitable exercise class. Permission from DR to exercise and swim and have massage etc. I was recommended this lesson by a friend who has great success.

Did you find my Body Health Lesson easy: Lesson was easy and straight forward to follow.

How soon did you see results from starting to ease your issue: I couldn’t  believe the difference in the improvement of my body within one week. I know it will take my regular commitment to work at this to help with my job posture.

Do you still use all the information from your lesson to help your muscular help today. Yes I must admit that I use the lesson information and help my body repair from my issues, and then I stop and when they come back I start again. Working on myself to prioritise myself more.

Any other information you would like to add: So simple yet soo effective if you put the work in.

REVIEW FOR MY BODY HEALTH COACHING LESSON

Reason for seeking my help: Miserable with constant sore muscles and headaches.

Issue: Continual sore neck, upper body issues, sore arm, headaches etc.

How long had you been troubled for: Always suffered from headaches throughout my life.

Had you had any medical help from a DR: When it came to migraine I was only ever advised on what to avoid and given medication for when a migraine would occur. I don’t have any diagnosed medical issues.

Did you find my Body Health Lesson easy: Yeah, easy to understand and follow. the principle behind it makes sense.

How soon did you see results from starting to ease your issue: Less build up of tension very soon after appointment and long term have had less headaches by also trying to reduce stress. I feel good and then forget to do the release moves, and if I used the teachings taught from the workshop more regularly I would have no headaches.

If you have a headache do your movements taught be your first go to, to ease a headache before reaching for medication: Yes. Haven’t taken paracetamol for headaches as much as I used to.

Do you still use all the information from your lesson to help your muscular help today. (lesson was 18months ago). When I consciously think about it or when I feel tension. I now realise that proper recovery after sports injuries or stress and taking time to relax has helped my muscular and headache health also. The lesson information has changed my mindset in how I care & look after my body.

Any other information you would like to add: Have had upper body release massage sessions with Karen for multiple years now on a 6-8 week basis which have benefited and helped me. No pressure of booking too many appointments has made this sustainable long term.

Reason for seeking my help: Troubled with neck& head tension headaches.

Issue: Frequent headaches causing misery.

How long had you been troubled for: Around a year now. Always got the occasional headache but not as much as I do now.

Had you had any medical help from a DR: Yes and no medical issues found and movement exercises recommended.

Did you find my Body Health Lesson easy: Yes and the homecare notes helped me remember what to do at home.

How soon did you see results from starting to ease your issue: Released my tension straight away and within a couple of weeks my headaches stopped.

Do you still use all the information from your lesson to help your muscular help today? Yes and now I know what is causing my tension I can adjust my posture and work with the moves to help me throughout the day.

Any other information you would like to add: I work in healthcare and could see how I put myself last soo much, and that stress plays a role in my muscular health.
