Body Health Lesson – Journey to OK Workshop

Body Remedial Workshop for common muscular aches, stiffness & mobility issues when you are ready to address the issue to get improvement results easily in a short space of time, by learning mind body healing tools whatever the cause.

If you are frustrated with continually being troubled with muscle stiffness, soreness, headaches etc stopping you doing the things that you want in life, then please message me to discuss your issue to get you started on this remedial workshop. I use my approach to consider you holistically, and not just your pain, by assessing your day to day activities, as well as teach you mind body tools to help you sort out your imbalances at your own pace to give you a solution.

My 30yrs experience in body work has been my inspiration to develop a workshop that everyone needs to take once to become their own healer. You are wired for healing and living through Mindfulness daily helps you heal like a human and not a robot. Chi Gung postures enables you to access your healing powers once I have taught you how to read your body. Learning about your brain’s role in your daily life is how I help you understand your day to day movements, and responses, and this is how I believe my approach gets results every time. You need to do something to change how you feel in life and my method is a good starting point.

This is not a Chi Gung lesson it is a healing lesson targeting your common issues using adaptions of these postures, which gets improvement results every time. My lesson makes sense for you, and it is simple subtle adaptions that you incorporate into your day with postures & tools to do seated or standing that gives you profound and powerful results. I called it Journey to Ok because that is what life is like in this modern world. You need to keep assessing how you are (your human machine) daily to correct any imbalances for you to thrive living your best life. Once you get this concept life is easier.

If only we all arrived into this world with a manual of how our body really works, and how to navigate around our body systems! Our body is made up of many different systems and the human body consists of layers of energy. The energy body is a template for the physical body and understanding these different layers of energy allows you to balance, harmonise and strengthen the energetic flow in the body. This energy/chi/Qi is the power, the life force within. It carries the origin of the information of your life. When you activate this energy inside you, this energy has the intelligence to help fix any damaged tissues and cells. It has that power. This is how your body heals and supports you. When a problem in the body arises practising Energy Skill daily will help the body to restore back to its original information of life.

I have 100% success record so far in reducing general muscular aches and improving mobility, even for some who have not had success through the GP route. For some the medical route couldn’t find an answer to their muscular issues, for some the pain clinic route wasn’t a success, for some they had reoccurring repetitive strain issues or old injury issues that wouldn’t go away. Most clear headaches completely within a short space of time (it was also a food allergy for two customers), most get more comfortable for sleep, and a host of other positive outcomes for them. No matter what your issue is you still need to look after your whole body. Reaching for pain meds or injections will never address all issues and you need to take responsibility to help yourself on a daily basis to maintain your muscular health – ask your G.P. or physio to confirm this.

This workshop is best taken first if you have an ongoing troublesome issue or have illness or mobility issues before a massage therapy. If you have found massage sore in the past my workshop helps you work out your issue with less discomfort, at your own pace, and will help you relax more at your massage session if you choose to ever have one. One massage is never the answer for some, even if you have them regularly as you need to be working on troublesome issues in-between massage therapy sessions. By working on your issues in-between massages I will be able to help you achieve maximum massage benefit results, and reset your body for maximum holistic health.

Even though you may have a diagnosed medical condition you still have about 600 muscles in the body, and other body systems looking for help daily. Which means that you are not exempt from looking after your human machine, and I can prove my workshop benefits to you if you need that extra encouragement, and contact me for a phone consultation. This includes those of you in recovery from arthritis, fibromyalgia, tendonitis, frozen shoulder, sciatica, headaches, neck & shoulder pain, sore backs & bodies etc. You can do my mind body teachings in bed if you are ill.

Please check with your healthcare provider first that you are suitable for Chi Gung for anyone in recovery. Many issues in the body result from having stagnant energy held within the body and as Chi Gung is the skilful practice of gathering, circulating, and applying life-force energy it is ideal for many concerns. Remember if it’s a fresh injury please get checked out by a Physiotherapist with an in-person assessment, or your doctor if you get new intense, sudden sharp pain or nerve pain. Think of my workshop as the starting step to healing before regular exercise or along side it. You will take this workshop and go home and develop your own plan to suit your own bodies needs through mindfulness body assessments to correct any imbalance.

JOURNEY TO OK WORKSHOP

Starting point for everyone. You need to know what works for you individually to heal safely. I will look at you holistically, and check your alignment and mobility before teaching you basic physio-style Chi Gung exercises whilst seated / standing to get started. You will learn more about your anatomy and understand why you need to do these body postures simplistically, and how to read your body for safe healing (no one has known this). Mindfulness body assessment and mindful healing body postures will be your homecare tools and this works. Homecare information/video given for you to work on at home.

For those of you who I have shown some basic instructions (YMCA) to after your massage therapy you still have more to learn and contact me to book in a shorter workshop.

Journey to Ok workshops 2 & 3 follow in sequence, if needed for deep routed problems or multiple issues. If you have taken course 1 and want to refresh then book an 1hr back & body stretch appointment. More Energy Skill postures will be taught as well as massage and acupressure therapy.
