Your body needs healing movement every day and Qigong is a holistic therapy working on the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual level. Qigong is a purposeful exercise that requires meditation (body awareness) and regular practice. It can be practiced by anybody regardless of age and level of fitness. Energy flows in and out of everybody’s body and Qigong is an approach to harmonise this consciously through mind, body and soul. We all arrive into this world pre-programmed and everyone needs to look after their body for optimum health.
Qigong is a holistic system of co ordinated body posture and movement, breathing and meditation. Qi/Chi means “Life force energy” and Gong/Gung means “skill”, so Chi Gung is the skilful practice of gathering, circulating, and applying life force energy. Wired into your DNA is how to heal your body when an issue arises and by practicing Qigong daily you can fix damaged cells. By helping your life force energy circulate freely around your body is how your body heals you. It really is that simple and once you grasp the concept of being able to help your own body you will reap the rewards. If you break a bone and your DR puts your limb in a cast who heals your limb? YOU!

As an experienced holistic therapist in remedial and restorative body work I knew when I started practicing Qigong, that this was the answer to how I was going to show you off my couch how to look after your whole body. I know that most of us can’t afford the number of massages or physiotherapist check up’s that we actually need to address our issues, but still needed help with common troublesome issues, that always show up in my holistic work. From feedback over the years from my clients, whom I had shown a couple of basic postures to, still report using them regularly to maintain their body health. Hence why I developed my Body Health Lesson Workshop in 2022 which gets 100% improvement records still to this day.
